He combines firsthand endurance experience with USA Triathlon coaching education and an ACE personal training certification.
Learn about Galen's coaching approachChoose the support you need
Start with the goal, then choose the level of structure, feedback, and accountability that fits how you want to train. For coaching clients, practical fueling, hydration, and race-day nutrition guidance can be included when it supports the training goal. It is not treated as a separate add-on.

Start with a free 30-minute consultation. Galen will learn about your training history, schedule, current fitness, and the outcome you are working toward.
Decide whether endurance coaching, triathlon coaching, strength programming, injury-aware support, or in-person training offers the right level of support.
Begin with a structured plan that reflects the goal, the time available, and the training you can complete consistently.
Structure changes the experience
Both approaches can work. Coaching adds an experienced second set of eyes and a process for making decisions when training does not go exactly as planned.
Client experiences
"Galen has provided me with some great strength programs over the years and I’d recommend him to anyone looking to gain functional strength and to help take care of overall health. He always keeps the workouts fun and fresh along with taking your suggestions about how you want to improve."
"57 year old women looking to try strength training for the first time and I am having a great time while being challenged in every session! Galen is patient, knowledgeable, funny and makes the time fly! I was intimidated when I first arrived but soon after, I was put at ease not only by my trainer, Galen, but all the staff.... Galen is encouraging and provides different, challenging sessions every time."
"My biggest takeaways from this plan is the relatability of my running plans to this strength plan. Operating under RPE made so much more sense to me in the gym since I’m so used to following that methodology in my running, training blocks. I let that guide me and definitely made the most out of the individual workouts."

Yes, when it supports the training goal. Galen can help athletes think through workout fueling, hydration, recovery nutrition, and race-day routines as part of coaching. In-person training is for clients who want one-on-one guidance with strength, movement, general fitness, or training that supports an endurance goal. Sessions are available by appointment near Willow Grove for clients across nearby Bucks and Montgomery County communities.
